Well, I am so happy to say that after the catastrophe that was the previous Wolves of StoneRidge book, Charlie Richards has redeemed herself, showing off the talent that was so rich in the beginning of this series! This book is right back up to the standards that we, her faithful series readers, have come to expect. The plot was full of fun, conflict, drama, excitement, and of course smokin hot wolf lovin!

In this book we meet Rowan again, he is a history teacher at the local StoneRidge school and is asked by the alpha Declan to keep an eye on a transferring Senior who has a way with hacking computer systems. The student has been expelled from his former school for that very thing and has been shipped to his grandmothers house in StoneRidge to complete the final 2 months of his senior year and graduate. Well that of course is where the fun begins because this 18 yr. old turns out to be his mate, and still in the closet with an attraction only to older men! What ensues is a very good and interesting read that I am so happy was nothing like its predecessor. I am hoping that Ms. Charlie continues to hand out these types of books, the gargoyles, Kontra's m�nage and a paranormal love included, because as long as they keep on like this, then I'll keep buying!

Not up to par...

I normally enjoy the series but this one just didn't do it for me. Rowen was very generic in character while William, he just was too much of a brat for most of the story. Also, this takes place in a school environment but there isn't any flack about the two becoming involved (teacher / student).

What I don't get is when characters make an appearance such as Lyle in the beginning, essentially have a single line, and disappear for the rest of the story. This happened with the previous story with Toby & Tullion (which I really enjoyed since many of the earlier series characters popped in) where Lyle was there but didn't have any lines and disappeared again.

Rowen St. Paul has a problem a serious problem this handsome shifter has found his mate and it is not a good time for it to happen. Being a Teacher it was easy to come up with words to define his newest and biggest issue...Taboo...Restriction...unsavory...Banned...not to mention his very own Eww factor flowing through his mind. Yet the heart wants what the heart wants and when you add to that epic realization that your body betrays you at the mere thought of a forbidden temptation in one alluring captivating horny mate who is not only 18 and unfortunately sitting in his class room staring right back. Indecision and apprehension wars in Rowen whenever he is near or thinks of Wesley O'Conner one bratty intelligent geek who has no qualms about chasing and taking what he wants. Fate has a sense of humor on occasion and gives a shifter who has waited for more years than he cares to think about. Rowen knows he cannot and should not touch. Fate forgot to give that memo to one very sexy lusty Wesley who bombards Rowen at every turn with entertaining seduction; this wild one has a few cards unknowingly up his sleeve ... the mate bond and pull on his side quickly destroying any Fences Rowen dubiously built. The chemistry between them is explosive, watching their romance run hot an cold is breathtaking. Is it right or wrong, really does not matter because for these two "Life is perfectly imperfect" and sometimes that's what you get. Together they will have to find the strength in order to survive their own emotional baggage's a few bullies and an intolerant family, not to mention Wesley's graduation.

Good information, Organized, bit snide

Quite a bit of useful information, and reasonably well organized. We were able to read and make sense of the topic. Formulas were useful and the explanation of electrical generation were well thought out. Their use of the basic formulas was crisp and easy to understand. You really can do a lot with this.

It would have been better if they could have avoided sounding snide. I'm not sure what the hidden agenda was, but what came out was a tone of "we are smarter than everyone". The discussion of horizontal vs vertical axis windmills was especially snippy. I expect enthusiasm for the topic, I don't appreciate doing so by pushing everyone else down.

So all in all, I would recommend it. As I said, the information is great and well organized.

Thoroughly Enjoyed, Want to Build my Own

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I plan to put it to use at some point in the future to build my own wind turbine from scratch. This book gives excellent instruction on how to build your own wind turbine and it is fun to read. I recommend it to anyone interested in wind turbines or renewable energy.
