A Wonderful Book!

Mondays with Mary contains a treasure trove of ideas for increasing devotion to our Blessed Mother. Devotion is a kind of intimacy, and I was so happy to discover in Mondays with Mary all sorts of suggestions for increasing that intimacy with Our Lady. This is by far the best book I have found to help us celebrate the multitude of Marian feasts.

I can recommend this book to families talented at crafting and also to those who aren't so talented - because even though I am one without crafting inclinations, I am still delighted with Meredith Henning's lovely book full of crafts, recipes, and Marian lore. And who can resist tea time? So many great ideas here!

What I love most about this book is all the information on Mary's special titles and feastdays. There is so much to learn about our Blessed Mother, and Meredith's book is a terrific guide and reference to lead us through the liturgical year.

I highly recommend Mondays with Mary to all families and all children of Mary - it will help every reader to know our dear Mother better.

Only one CD-not whole book

This was not the full audio book. It was only the intro . The item was one CD and only 50 minutes. Not exactly sure what happened but I do not feel that I received what was expected . I still want the whole book on audio, however I am afraid to purchase it again for fear the same thing will happen .

Think of this book as the "art of war" to use in marketing. Easy to read even if you are not very proficient in marketing and thinking strategies in marketing. Based on the current market situation, yours and your competitor's, it DOES matter which marketing strategy you use. One of the best books i have ever read. Ries/Trout fan.

The book looks at Marketing from a military perspective.
The book was largely influenced by the book "On War" by the retired Prussian general Karl von Clausewitz.
It basically outlines 4 broad Marketing Strategies which depend on your market position, the nature of your product and on the competition; viz, Offense, Defense, Flanking and guerrilla warfare.
"Marketing promises should be as vague as political ones. Otherwise you will erode the effectiveness of your forces", "Marketing battles are fought inside the mind. Dr. Ernő Tyih�k’s primary scientific achievements include the discovery of the formaldehyde cycle and formaldehydome system, the quadruple immune response of plants to pathogens, the unique role of endogenous formaldehyde and ozone in the antibiotic effect and the double effect of trace elements similar to trans-resveratrol. He was an early adopter of thin-layer chromatography methods and has been instrumental in moving the field forward, ultimately developing different patented versions of overpressured-layer chromatography, widely known as one of the most efficient separation techniques. Most recently he has invented the BioArena system, which integrates layer chromatographic separation with biological detection capabilities to explore in vivo phenomena such as the immunization of plants in greenhouse conditions. He holds PhD and DSc degrees from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He is Honorary Ass. Professor at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, as well as Honorary Professor at the University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary, and he was until recently a Scientific Advisor at the Plant Protection Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences Budapest, Hungary.

Delightful punishment...

Love is a punishment, says Yourcenar, and in some intellectual and emotive way this book is one. I've read all of her books, and this is her most felt, chirurgically precise, passionate and torn aproach to what love is and represents in all the roles we - human beings - play at one time or another in our lives. All the possible deceptions, miscommunications and broken hearts are hold in these pages, through the reconstruction and modernization of some greek myths such as Antigone, Achilles and Patroclus, Sapho, and Maria Magdalena (ok, she was not greek!). Along with "Memoires of Adrian" and "Zenon", this is a must-have from Yourcenar.

Unforgettable

"I hope this book will never be read." So begins Yourcenar's Fires...a richly dense collection of famous myths and legends stunningly revitalized through the voices and eyes of the heroines. Intertwining the stories are excerpts from Yournenar's own journal taken from the time during which she had written the stories. Achingly familiar to anyone recovering from a broken heart, Yourcenar marries the heartache of this century's woman to women throughout the ages.

A little book that sould follow you for the life

This book, also if is not so take in consideration in the critical analysis of M.Yourcenar, is the more next at my opinion, to the sensibility of this extraordinary writer. The tranfiguration of the reality in the world of the grecian mytology (except the episod of Maria Magdalena) is a very suffer parable of the human condition.
